  I chose here because of the previous weeks glowing review. It was my pups first full groom and I wanted it to be a pleasant experience for him. Well, I think I must have gone to a different place. The lady wasn't very welcoming at all. when I collected my pup she said he'd been a handful and that I should be more firm with him.Whilst not disagreeing with the being more firm, the idea that she smacked him is really upsetting. Is this the best a lady with 40 years experience can do?
  On to the cut....the face was okay but I found a matt in his fur. Chris just nodded when I mentioned it. The rest of his coat looks as though 2 different people have cut it. he has matts round his neck and on his paws. This was why he went to a professional, to remove them all. People have commented that she has "butchered him". Also his claws weren't clipped, usually part of a full groom, I understand. This cost £25.I can't tell you how upset I am. is first proper cut and it turns out like this. I refuse to go back there as I wouldn't trust her with him. This is an honest and true account. I found nothing personal or friendly there. (oh, gentleman who took my booking was nice)

  Always great service from Jackie's. My adorable springer spaniel has been going there regularly for over a year. She goes in looking like mutton and comes out looking like amazing. I recommend them.

  Took our Shitzu there nice friendly staff and a good groom at very reasonable price also my dog seems in a very happy mood when I picked him up would definitely recommend Jackie's for a good service for under 30 pounds you can't moan .
